Privacy Policy for Recepti - What Should I Cook?

SNOUTY LTD, UIC 208166129 ("we"), provides the Recepti - What Should I Cook? application for iOS and Android.

Data we process

Most data stays locally on the device, including pantry items, the shopping list, saved recipes, cooking history, cooked-meal photos, calorie logs, and settings.

To generate and personalize recipes, the app may send user-entered data to our backend and AI service provider, including:

• pantry items, recipe searches, meal type, and cooking method;
• household member names and ages;
• allergies, dietary restrictions, preferences, and goals;
• grocery budget when budget mode is used;
• information about food left from previous cooking.

The app creates an anonymous Supabase user identifier and session. They are used to operate the service, prevent abuse, and enforce AI usage limits. An email address and password are not required.

When a user explicitly shares a recipe, the recipe content is passed to the app selected by the user through the system share sheet. In the current version, we do not store publicly accessible copies of shared recipes or upload local recipe photos.

Service providers

• Supabase provides anonymous authentication, backend functions, and limits.
• OpenAI API generates recipes and menus. API data is not used to train models

by default. Standard abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days under OpenAI's terms.

• RevenueCat and Apple/Google process purchases, subscriptions, and Premium

entitlement status.

Permissions

Camera and photo-library access is requested only after the user chooses to attach a photo to a cooked recipe. Notification permission is requested only after reminders are enabled. We do not request location, contacts, microphone, HealthKit, or Health Connect access.

Tracking and advertising

We do not include an advertising SDK, use data for cross-app tracking, or sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

Uninstalling the app removes local data from the device, but does not automatically delete the anonymous Supabase user, backend usage-limit records, RevenueCat purchase records, or previously created shared recipes.

To request access or deletion, contact us and include the anonymous app identifier when available.

Children

The app is intended to be managed by an adult. Information about children is entered by a parent or guardian solely to adapt household recipes.
